PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with an excellent quality which can discriminate the various kinds of record medium and form a proper picture in response to the kind of the record medium. SOLUTION: A luster detection means 19 for detecting the surface luster of a sent record mediums is provided just before a resist means 18. This luster detection means 19 is emitted by a luminous member facing to the surface of the record medium S and the luster degree of the surface of the record medium S is detected by reading its reflection light by a light receiving member. |
