PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly detect brake dragging against the number of passengers of an elevator anal torque fluctuation by its inertial moment. SOLUTION: Torque command values 4a-4d are computed from deflection of speed command values 2a, 2b and actual speed 3a, 3b, and a torque command average means 8 computes average values 8a-8d of the torque command values 4a-4d along from one time starting to stopping of a cage. An imbalanced torque detection means 9 detects an imbalanced torque command value 9a to hold a weight difference between cage side weight while a cage stops and balance weight weight. Imbalanced torque is calculated by subtracting the imbalanced torque command value 9a from the torque command average values 8a-8d by a brake dragging discrimination means 10, and when it becomes higher than a specified value, it is judged as brake dragging, and restarting of the cage is prevented. |
