PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed proof sheet which is strong and durable to be satisfactorily handleable as a long and wide matter at the time of laying at the root of fruit trees, provided with shadeability enabling suppressing the growth of weeds and satisfactory in permeability to be effective for the purpose of preventing weeds. SOLUTION: Flat yarns 1a and 1b are molded from polyolefin-group resin including a surfactant to make an woven cloth through the use of these flat yarns or to make a laminated nonwooven fabric by vertically and horizontally arranging/overlaping the flat yarns and adhering crossing parts.
