PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently removing even so small foreign matter as to have been tried in vain to remove by any conventional methods from laver-mixed fluid, an apparatus therefor and raw laver washing machine. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for removing foreign matter is provided with a reservoir 10 having an opening with a wire mesh 11 slantly mounted on the upper position and a drain conduit 130 on the lower position. There are mounted a receiving plate 110 above the wire mesh 11 and blocking plates 12 at predetermined intervals under the wire mesh 11.
