PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder capable of suppressing growing of bubbles existing in a supply passage formed on a print head to prevent ejection failure for a long time in a simple structure. SOLUTION: An opening section 61 for communicating a closed space 59 to the air is provided to a head cover 46 which forms the closed space 59 between a print head 23 and the cover 59. A heat generated by the print head 23 is discharged to the air via the opening section 61 so that a temperature and a pressure in the closed space 59 do not rise. Therefore, the air does not enter a supply passage 52 by virtue of a pressure difference so that it is possible to effectively suppress growing of bubbles staying in the supply passage 52. |
