<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring butt ends into contact with each other without gap not to generate a gap on a connecting part by a method wherein butt ends of two handrails on which a cut channel along the longer direction is respectively provided and after the projected part of a connection rod with a projected crosssectional shape which can be directly passed through the cut channel is inserted, the connection rod is fixed and it is cut along the contact face of both handrails. SOLUTION: A cut channel is formed on each surface of two handrails C along the axial direction. When the butt ends are cut at a working site, at first, the butt ends of both handrails C are cut at right angle as exactly as possible. Tan, the butt ends are brought into contact with each other and after the projected part of a connection rod S with a projected crosssectional shape which can be directly passed through the cut channel is inserted, the connection rod is fixed to the handrails C with a tape. Under this condition, it with the connection rod S is cut along the gap of butt ends of the connection part by means of a saw blade. As the result, it is possible to improve accuracy of cutting and to make the gap of a joint small to avoid to spoil the beauty.</p> |
