PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet having sufficient pressure-sensitive color- forming properties and resistances to scuffing and shock, and having a forgery- preventing function due to the pressure-sensitive color producing properties. SOLUTION: This recording sheet comprises a support 1, a thermoplastic resin layer 2, a self-color forming pressure-sensitive recording layer 3, and a coating sheet 4, which are laminated on one another. The Yrel value at the time of applying a planar pressure of 5 kgf/cm<2> to the recording sheet is set to 0.99-1.00 and, moreover, the Yrel value at the time when a linear pressure of 10 kg/cm is applied thereto by a chilled roll is set to 0.81. With this arrangement, a recording sheet 5 excellent in the balance of pressure-sensitive color- forming properties and resistances to scuffing and shock, and having a forgery- preventing function due to the pressure-sensitive color-producing properties can be obtained. |
