PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unevenness in dyeing due to a lens material itself by releasing a plastic lens precursor from a lens mold before polymerization reaction of material monomer is completed, and then completing the reaction. SOLUTION: Dicyclohexylmethane-4,4-diisocyanate, 1,2-bis[(2mercaptoethyl) thio]-3-mercaptopropane, dibutyl tin dilaurate and inner mold release agent are mixed to uniform liquid and sufficiently defoamed in a glass container having an agitator. This mixed liquid is cast in a lens mold held at two glass molds by sealing tape. This is heated, for example, from 35 to 130 deg.C in 12 hours by a warm air heating furnace, held at 130 deg.C of the highest temperature in 12 hours, held at 130 deg.C of the highest temperature for 1 hour, then annealed to 40 deg.C in 4 hours, released from the mold to a reactive product. This is further heated in the furnace to a plastic lens. |
