<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical automobile exhaust flexible tube which absorbs relative displacement between a first exhaust pipe fixed to an engine side and a second pipe fixed to a muffler, and satisfies all required performances such as compactness and lightness, low-cost, high displacement absorptivity, and high durability. SOLUTION: This automobile exhaust flexible tube is equipped with a bellows 3 which absorbs displacement of two exhaust pipes 1, 2, an outer cover 5 which covers the periphery of the bellows 3 and has one end which is fixed on one end of the bellows 3, a protector 7 which is connected with the other end of the bellows 3, a coil spring 6 of which both ends are respectively fixed and combined with another end of the outer cover 5 and with the protector 7, and a stopper 8 which prevents the displacement from exceeding the proper level in expansion, bending, and shearing direction of the bellows 3.</p> |
