PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate weight of a passenger while reducing the cost of parts. SOLUTION: A seat slide rail 11 is disposed in the condition where it is inclined for a specified angle, and a passenger weight detection device 20 is provided on it. In the case where a seat slide upper rail 16 is moved backward against energization force of an upper rail supporting compression coil spring 32, a detection lever of a load detecting switch 34 is applied to a latch rotation rod 24 to move, so a load F1 is detected in accordance with its moving quantity. The load detection switch 34 is connected to a load estimating circuit, and the load estimating circuit operates an estimated weight W1 of a passenger by a specified operation expression W1=f(F1). |
