PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition which can give a well-balanced resin molding having a specified coefficient of linear expansion, flexural modulus, and impact strength and suitable for, e.g. building interior parts by blending an ABS resin with a specified amount of an ultrafine particulate calcium carbonate having a mean particle diameter below a specified value. SOLUTION: An ABS resin in an amount of 100 pts.wt. is blended with a first filler comprising an ultrafine particulate calcium carbonate having a mean particle diameter of at most 0.5μm, in an amount of 10-50 pts.wt. Other filler can be added as a second filler, replacing a part of the first filler. Accordingly, the total amount of the first and second fillers is 10-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. ABS resin. The second filler may be used in an amount of 5-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. ABS resin. The second filler used preferably comprises a talc having a mean particle diameter of at most 5μm. |
