PRODUCTION OF SUPER PLASTIC STAINLESS STEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to produce the super plastic stainless steel which has a high elongation rate/a high strain speed and is capable of reducing a working hour. SOLUTION: Plastic working of >=85% is applied to a base material of an austenitic stainless steel at a temp. of >=Ms to <=Md (working process 3), a working induced martensite is produced. Next, annealing is applied for a time, in which the content of martensite becomes <1% at a temp. of >=As point to <=750 deg.C (annealing process 4). Successively a working process 5 and an annealing process 6 are repeated once more.
