<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a loss in stroke of a steering lock bar, and to reduce the number of components while minimizing the external shape. SOLUTION: An ignition switch is provided with a turn-off position, a turn-on position which is connected with a battery circuit at a turn-off position located at one turning direction, a steering lock position in which a steering unit is locked which is located in the other turning direction of the turn-off position and a lock open position which opens an external lock between the turn-off position and the steering lock position. The locking motion of the steering unit and the unlocking motion of the external lock are carried out, independent from each other, by a pair of protrusions 10, 11 formed on a cam 8.</p> |
