<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recessed groove from swelling out of a label face to damage external appearance by forming at least a line of a recessed groove provided on a peripheral wall face of a bottle body within a range where a label is to be stuck toward both sides of a bottle peripheral direction and also by forming an extension of the recessed groove level with the peripheral wall face. SOLUTION: In a bottle 1 formed with a line of a recessed groove 12 on a peripheral wall face 111 of a normal octagonal prism bottle body 11, the recessed groove 12 is formed on the peripheral wall face 111 extending from an angle a-1 to an angle a-5, while a depth of the groove 12 is formed to be gradually shallower from the angle a-2 to the angle a-1 and from the angle a-4 to the angle a-5. An extension of the recessed groove 12 out of the angles a-1, a-5 is formed level with the peripheral wall face 111 of the bottle body 11. A length of the groove 12 peripherally provided on the bottle body 11 is within a range of a width of a label to be stuck, whereby the label completely conceals the recessed groove 12 apparently, so that the groove 12 does not exist on the peripheral wall face 111 out of the range with the label stuck.</p> |
