The unit (10) for preparing coffee or other infused beverage, houses a vessel (11) containing milk and has one pump (13) with emulsifier (18). The emulsifier includes a hollow space (23) incorporating a heater. A cleaning water reservoir (34) is inter-connected via a double delivery valve (16). The pump draws milk which is emulsified with air, heated and mixed with coffee or other beverage. At the end of the emulsifying cycle, water can be drawn through to clean the system from remaining milk particles.
