The dressing has a support panel (1) with a hemi-spherical cross section and formed of a flexible synthetic or natural sheet material. It has an upper face (1b) which is hollow, concave and corresponds to the hemi-spherical cavities and a lower face (1a) or an external dressing surface which follows the hemi-spherical shape. A cooling fluid (2) fills the hollow spaces of the upper face and a fine membrane (3) which is impermeable, sterile and non-adhesive to the skin. It covers all of the upper face of the body and is filled with a cooling fluid to define a continuous planar upper surface. |
