This invention refers to a switch comprising a switch unit wherein a communication module (4), a processing module (2) and a calibration module (3) are fixed. Communication module communicates with processing module only through a connection with galvanic insulation (11), preferably an optical connection, while calibration module (3) is electrically connected (25) with processing module. Communication module is further connected by a mechanical connection with switch unit parts respectively of switch state, and by a bi-directional electric connection (28) to an external communication bus. An interface (23) connected to switch unit can work as calibration module (3) support, and is an additional module (15) containing information respectively about switch switching capacity, and is electrically connected to processing module (2).
