PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of indoaniline-based dye to eliminate the deterioration of the preserving property of a heat transfer sheet, prevent the fusion bonding of the heat transfer sheet to a thermal head to secure the smooth running property of the heat transfer sheet and prevent sticking upon printing even when the indoaniline-based dye is contained in a heat transfer dye layer, in the heat transfer sheet, consisting of the heat transfer dye layer formed on the surface of a substrate sheet and a heat resistant lubricating layer formed on the rear surface of the same sheet. SOLUTION: In a heat transfer sheet, consisting of a heat transfer dye layer 2 formed on the surface of a substrate sheet, and a heat resistant lubricating layer 3 formed on the rear surface of the same sheet, indoaniline-based dye is contained in the heat transfer dye layer 2 while polyoxyethylene sorbitol aliphatic ester and phosphoric ester are contained in the heat resistant lubricating layer 3 with the weight ratio of (10:1)-(1:2). |
