A computer device is coupled to control a light in the field of vision of the person driving the vehicle or operating the machinery. A motion sensor is linked to the accelerator pedal or corresponding speed control device and upon illumination of a control light, the driver is obliged to press the pedal. If the driver manages to react within the time limit, a switch connected to the starter unit unblocks the vehicle, so that it can be driven away. Whilst the car is driven the light is lit up from time to time and the driver is again obliged to operate the pedal or the like, and vehicle speed is reduced if reaction time is insufficient. |
