1. Method of producing 1,5,5,-trimethyl-6-methylene-1-cyclohexene - Characterized in that: β-pyronen is subjected to epoxidation with peracetic acid in the solution of methylene chloride in the presence of anhydrous sodium carbonate at the temperature of 0-25 degrees C, preferably at 0-5 degrees C. The obtained reaction product is treated with BH3 borate, with the molar ration of 3-1 to 2-1, and then with sodium hydroxide. Then, the produced 1,2,6,6-tetramethyl-2-cyclo-hexen-1-yl is dehydrated.
