<p>The invention concerns a lamp which has a cover 2 made from a light-transparent material, a light source that is adapted to emit light through the cover 2 and a grate 4 or the like that is adapted to the cover 2 in which the grate 4 has at least one light transmitting opening 5. At least one shield 7 is releasably attached in the cover 2 which is made from essentially a light nontransparent material, in which the shield 7 is adjusted to at least one partially covered opening 5.
