The invention relates to a wrist watch used in underwater appplications especially in emergencies for interchanging predefined messages between divers wearing this kind of watches. When an emergency occurs, the diver presses only one button of its watch to draw the attention of its team by signals of sound, dense beams and vibrations which can be synchronously-emitted by the watches of the other fellows too. Beams can be sent not only by the watch in question but also by whatever external lamp connected thereto (e.g. compressed-air cylinder, floatation adjuster). Another characteristic of said watch is the possibility of using two or several special identification signal frequencies with the purpose to form smaller teams or a greater team of divers wearing the same-type watches, which will permit the interchange of predefined private messages and, additionally, the communication with the whole team. The watch can be of the analogic or digital type on condition that it comprises a screen for the display of the messages. The application of said invention can be extended to other fields, wherever applicable. |
