<p>The conveyor system, designed to transfer the pots from one straight track (23) to a second track (24) at right angles to it, consists of a finger wheel (26) for grouping the pots into groups of two or more, clamps (27) for holding the groups, and a drive which carries the clamps round a closed circuit (28). The system incorporates a station (29) at which the groups of pots are picked up by the clamps, situated to the right of the first track (23), and a second station (30) in which they are released onto the second track (24) before being separated into individual pots. The two tracks are flat and perpendicular to one another and the drive is in the form of a carousel unit with satellites.</p> |
