PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the audio video data transmission method in an audio video transmission system adopting a charge system which allows transmitting more data than those of a conventional system by means of a same communication charge. SOLUTION: In this transmission system, a transmission request of audio video data is sent from a terminal equipment to a center equipment via a public line, the center equipment sends requested data to the terminal equipment in response to the transmission request, and the terminal equipment receives, stores and reproduces the data. When a data transfer time from the center equipment in response to the current transmission request from the terminal equipment is less than the charging unit time of the public line and finished, the center equipment immediately sends the video audio data with respect to the succeeding transmission request with precedence over other processing till the charging unit time is finished without interrupting the line. |
