PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the feeling of steering by preventing the vibration of a frequency giving an unpleasant feeling to a driver from being transmitted to a steering handle. SOLUTION: The high frequency components of about frequencies 12 to 18Hz contained in the detecting signals of steering resisting force sensors 18a and 18b are eliminated by low-pass filters 19a and 19b. Thus, since reaction force control is performed by a steering shaft motor control circuit 21 based on the detecting signals having the high frequency components eliminated, the high frequency vibration of a system below a spring is prevented from being transmitted to a steering handle 1.
