<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply power to a power supply line provided in the cable of IEEE1394 at all times. SOLUTION: This power unit 10 and a printer 30 are connected by a IEEE1394 cable 20. The power unit 10 is provided with an outlet plug 18, a rectifier circuit 12 and a battery 1 for rectifying an AC voltage and supplying the voltage of the power supply line 21 provided in the cable 20. The voltage supplied from the rectifier circuit 12 or the voltage supplied from the battery 1 is given to the power supply line 21. The voltage supplied to the power supply line 21 is given as a drive voltage of the printer 30 and other devices 40, 50 and 60 connected to the power unit 10.</p> |
