PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet multiplexer, operating based on original program information, even in the case that communication with a network monitoring device is interrupted and the program information is not received. SOLUTION: This packet multiplexer 17 is operated by developing the program information held in an FEEPROM 32 in an SRAM 33, and the program information held in the FEEPROM 32 can be rewritten to the program information sent out from the network monitoring device. In this case, it is provided with a detection means 28 for detecting that the rewrite has become impossible in the middle of the rewrite of the program information held in the FEEPROM 32 and a control means 28 for holding the program information held in the SRAM 33, before the rewrite in the FEEPROM 32 again, based on the detected result of the detection means 28. |
