PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant compsn. for a liquid crystal display panel having excellent moisture resistance, photosettability, printability, adhesiveness, productivity, etc., without adversely affecting a liquid crystal material and the liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: This sealant compsn. is prepd. by adding 0.01 to 10 wt.% photoinitiator into a monomer mixture contg. at least one kind among diallyl phthalate, diallyl isophthalate and diallyl terephthalate and pentaerythritol tetra(3-mercaptopropionate) at an equiv. ratio of 2:1 to 1:3. This liquid crystal display panel is formed by sealing transparent substrates with transparent electrodes and oriented films by using the compsn. |
