<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall-off preventive device of a steel tower for overhead power transmission cables, with which it is possible to go up and down the steel tower safely without use of any lifeline fitted with a safety device by equipping the steel tower itself with this fall-off preventive device. SOLUTION: A fall-off preventive device 8 consisting of a number of frames 8a surrounding the person to go up and down and to serve as a back support is installed along a tower lifting facility 7 in the form, for example of a ladder, furnished on a steel tower. Steps 7a of the lifting facility 7 and each frame 8a constitute a ring. Even in case the person going up and down sets off his foot by mistake or separates his hand off, the hand or foot is hitched certainly with any frame 8a, and the device exerts a fall-off preventive function effectively. Thus the person can go up and down safely with no use of a lifeline fitted with a safety device.</p> |
