PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert the tool through in a forceps channel curved with a small curvature radius by forming an index of a flexible member provided around a sheath in the tool wherein the index being sensitive by a finger is provided on the outer surface of a flexible sheath which can be inserted and removed in the forceps channel of an endoscope. SOLUTION: A treating tool (a biopsy forseps) 100 is constituted by fitting an apex working part 102 for performing treatment to a diseased part on an apex of a sheath 101 consisting of a flexible coil pipe prepd. by winding tightly e.g. a thin stainless steel wire with a definite diameter and it is inserted into and removed from a forseps channel of an endoscope. An index 105 is provided at a position with a specified distance B from the apex on the outer peripheral face of this sheath 101 and this index 105 is fitted by heat-shrinking a flexible heat-shrinkable tube under a condition where the outer peripheral face of the sheath 101 is tightened. As materials for this index 105, such materials with good slidability as tetrafluoroethylene resin, polyethylene resin and polyolefin resins are used. |
