<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized load sensor which is used for a pointing device or the like in a control part of a game unit or a personal computer, which can be definitely manipulated, and into which an input is made in the form of a displacement of a manipulating part. SOLUTION: In a small-sized load sensor in which a resilient panel 11 incorporating two pairs of strain detecting elements 5 (5A, 5B) and 6 (6A, 6B) and having a stationary part 11A at the center thereof, is pressed by a planar manipulating member 15 through the intermediary of a resilient member 14 arranged on a circumference about the stationary part 11A, the direction and the amplitude of an output signal can be adjusted in accordance with a pressing position and a displacement of the planar manipulating member 15.</p> |
