PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure satisfactory transmission controlling and operability even when operation oil is escaped from a piston chamber or air enters the chamber. SOLUTION: A transmission control device of this type has a transmission control valve 6 operated for supplying and discharging operation oil in respect to a piston chamber 4 of an input pulley 2 according to a communication amount between a line pressure port and a drain port, an actuator 8 for driving the transmission control valve 6, and a transmission control means 25 for driving the actuator 8 based on operation rate computed according to a running state of a vehicle. In such a case, the operation oil is supplied to the piston chamber 4 of the input pulley 2 during specified vehicular speed. |
