PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stagnation of vehicle lending caused by the lack of vehicle, by grasping the number of vehicles stocked in a port and grasping the time zone of stock lack occurrence and the number of lacked vehicles. SOLUTION: Port terminal equipment 2 and 2', maintenance person terminal equipment 26 and 27 and terminal equipment 23 and 24 for desk work are respectively functioned as the terminal equipment of database system and can perform access through servers 21 and 22 to a database file. When lending and returning plural vehicles through automatic procedures, the time of lending and the time of returning for each vehicle are recorded in the vehicle data base. The stock conditions of lending vehicles are detected from lending record information in the vehicle database. Stock quantity detection information is stored and from these stored data, the transition at stock quantity in every time zone of stock quantity is predicted. Besides, the stock quantity in every time zone is detected based on the recorded difference between the result of the number of returned vehicles in every predetermined time zone and the result of the number of lent vehicles. |
