PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdered detergent which can be used jointly with other ingredients and does not cause a hygienic problem at all by incorporating hydrated amorphous silicon dioxide, lactic acid, and a carbonate or an alkali metal salt in a specified ratio into the same. SOLUTION: Hydrated amorphous silicon dioxide is mixed with an aq. lactic acid soln. having a concn. of 50% or higher, pref. 88-90%, in a wt. ratio of the silicon dioxide to lactic acid of (1:1)-(2:8). The resultant mixture is mixed with 15% or lower at least one salt selected from among alkali or alkaline earth metal carbonates (e.g. sodium carbonate or sodium hydrogencarbonate) and alkali metal salts (e.g. sodium sulfite) to give a powdered detergent. When this detergent is further mixed with 20-30 wt.% other ingredient (e.g. a natural or synthetic zeolite), the resultant product exhibits not only very high cleaning effects but also bactericidal power, etc. |
