发明名称 NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dispersion of internal resistance of a battery by forming a collector with a slit, and inserting an edge of a projected electrode plate into the slit, and connecting the edge of the electrode plate and the collector to each other through the slit. SOLUTION: A collector 11 is made of the same material with a board of an electrode plate, and formed by pressing a plate material having thickness at 1.5mm. The collector 11 is installed with adjustment so that an edge of the collector is projected at about 0.5mm in relation to the edge of a slit part. After working a space between the slit part and the end of the collector at 0.1mm or less, the slit part of the collector 11 and the edge of the electrode plate are connected to each other by laser welding. (At this stage, optical axis of the laser welding is tilted at 15 degree from a vertical axis in relation to the welding surface). This power generating element is inserted into an elliptic battery container for sealing, and connected to a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, and continuously, the battery container is filled with the electrolyte so as to form a battery. With this structure, a collector can be connected to an electrode plate with high reliability without lowering productivity.
