PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin preparation for external use having effects on prevention of loss in moistness and softness of skin and aging by including an extract solution from Belamcanda chinensis DC. and vitamin E and/or its specific derivative therein. SOLUTION: This skin preparation for external use is obtained by including (A) an extract solution from Belamcanda chinensis DC. of the family Iridaceae and (B) one ore more selected from the group consisting of vitamin E, acetic acid-DL-α-tocopherol, acetic acid-DL-β-tocopherol, acetic acid-DL-δ-tocopherol and nicotinic acid-DL-α-tocopherol therein. The amounts of the respective formulated ingredients in the total amount of the skin preparation for external use are preferably 0.0001-30wt.% ingredient A and 0.01-5wt.% ingredient B.
