PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store identification information to a storage means of a master set of a cordless telephone set built in communication equipment after the completion of assembling. SOLUTION: This equipment incorporates a master set of a cordless telephone set and is able to communicate with other communication equipment via a communication channel and is connected to a computer not via the communication channel. In this case, when identification information of the cordless telephone set is inputted from the computer (S6: YES), the identification information is transmitted to the storage means of the master set (S7) and a CPU of the master set allows the storage means of the master set to store the identification information.
