A plurality of printed papers (1) are provided each with at least a printed field (2) having the same printed image (3) and at least one control field (4) located on the same spot in all printed papers (1). A predetermined tearing line (5) crosses the control field (4) that comprises at least two identification images (6). The plurality of printed papers (1) are printed on continous paper webs (16) that are then cut out. The passage speed of the paper webs (16) remains essentially constant during the whole printing process. The identification images (6a, 6b) are printed by rolls (8) having different circumferential speeds, whereas the speed of rotation of at least one of the rolls (8) is modified and/or at least one of the rolls (8) is not driven during the printing process. |
