METHOD OF BENZENE REFINING

FIELD: coal-tar or petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: crude benzene is treated with acid reagent that is "acid resin smudge" of processes of aromatic hydrocarbons treatment with sulfuric acid at amount 2-20 wt.-%. Refining process is carried out at 40-160 C. Method does not require sulfuric acid using. In the presence of aromatic sulfoacids under indicated technological regime contaminants to benzene are polymerized and converted to "resinous" products that are absorbed by "acid resin smudge" providing effectiveness of resinous and benzene fraction separation.
