FIELD: oxidation catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removing injurious impurities from gases and can be, in particular, used when preparing catalyst applicable for removing carbon monoxide from gas mixtures in respiratory organsÆ protection systems, for cleaning internal combustion engine exhaust, and for other industrial objectives. Method consists in mixing manganese dioxide and copper carbonate with bentonite clay (binding agent), molding granules, drying, crushing, and heat treatment.
