FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: apparatus facilitates patient's movement over staircase, sitting down on chair and rising from the latter. Orthopedic apparatus has femoral and crural links coupled to each other by hinge and auxiliary link, one end of which is hinged to crus process. Other end of auxiliary link is hinged to slide fitted with drive. Slide is mounted in recess made in femoral link and is capable of motion.
