FIELD: mechanical engineering; crosshead crank mechanism engines. SUBSTANCE: piston has intertia mechanism to press piston rings to inner surface of cylinder. Piston rings consist of three equal segments, each provided with slot and graphite. Ring pressing mechanism is mated with piston rings through holes in piston head.
