PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly and efficiently measure noises without interrupting a downward broadcast service to another transmission line than a test object by suitably integrating and measuring a prescribed submodule corresponding to the test object transmission line. SOLUTION: When testing the transmission line connected to the 1st output terminal of the measuring instrument 20, a 2nd distributor output terminal connected with one of distributors is linked to a jumper module 27, remaining 2nd distributor output terminals are respectively linked to a high-pass filter module 26, only the downward signal of the high RF band is passed, the upward signal of the low RF band is stopped, and separation is tested without interrupting the broadcast service to the other transmission line than the test object transmission line. When measuring the characteristics of noises on the transmission line at the upper end linked with a main input terminal, 1st and 2nd distributor output terminals are connected to a longitudinal module 28, the upward signal is stopped and the separation test is performed to the upstream side transmission line. |
