<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily and quickly locate a buried pipe nearly horizontally and continuously by locating the outer periphery of a region to be located and then performing location from a piston where the buried pipe has been detected to a region to be located. SOLUTION: A buried pipe 2 that is buried nearly horizontally and continuously is located, for example, by an underground location radar. First, an outer periphery P1 of a region 1 to be located is located, and the buried pipe 2 is detected. Then, location is made from a position where the buried pipe 2 has been detected to a region to be located. However, since the buried pipe 2 is buried in a continuous straight-line, several points P2 -PN are located at right angle for the outer periphery P1 from a position where the buried pipe 2 has been detected, thus the buried direction of the buried pipe 2 is checked. Then, a point where the buried pipe 2 has been detected is extended, and an area near the place is located. By repeating this operation, the buried position of the buried pipe 2 can be easily located in a short time.</p> |
