PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damages of circuit element caused by the transient characteristic of a horizontal deflection coil, etc., in a correction circuit for correcting the horizontal linearity of various horizontal synchronization signals. SOLUTION: This correction circuit for correcting the horizontal linearity of various horizontal synchronization signals is serially connected to a horizontal deflecting oil Lh, connected to a horizontal deflection circuit composed of a transistor Q1, a damper diode D1 and a resonant capacitor C1. This correction circuit is composed of relay contacts S1 -Sn and plural correction coils S1 -Sn connected to these contacts and further, a linearity correction coil Lx is connected in parallel to these relay contacts and plural correction coils. Thus, even if all the relay contacts S1 -Sn are released, since the correction coil Lx is connected to the horizontal deflection coil Lh, the cut-off of operating current to the horizontal deflection coil Lh can be prevented, the generation of a high voltage caused by the transient characteristic of the horizontal deflection coil Lh is prevented, and the stability of the circuit can be guaranteed. |
