PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a word processor capable of reducing time necessary for preparing a document by providing a style converter and its method capable of simply converting the style of an inputted sentence and equipping this style converter. SOLUTION: In a style analyzing processing part 7, a pre-conversion information fetching part 11 fetches information on a segment before style conversion and a style convertable checking part 12 checks whether this segment includes a style convertible declinable word. Then in the case of being a style convertible segment, a succeeding attached word extracting part 13, a style conversion candidate generating part 14 and an attached word table 15 prepares a segment obtained by replacing this segment with the character string of six kinds of styles such as respect, possibility politeness, desire, estimation, hearing, guess. Then, these six kinds of styles are outputted and converted to the segment of a selected kind of style to complete the conversion of the style. |
