PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KANA/KANJI converter enabling operating a rule dictionary matched with each user by allowing a user to change the individual rule of rule conversion. SOLUTION: CPU 12 changes a rule stored in the rule dictionary 66 and stores the changed content in a customize rule area 28. Then CPU 12 retrieves a rule with a pattern coinciding with the conversion result of KANA/KANJI conversion from the rules in the dictionary 66 and rules stored in the area 28 and rewrites the retrieved rule based on rewriting information belonging to the rule. |
