PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of the electronic money storage cabinet in an abnormal state such as a fire. SOLUTION: In addition to an electronic money storage medium (IC card 3) to be used for an ordinary electronic money transaction, the storage unit in body structure (fire resistant storage unit 6) immune to the abnormal state is provided for storing just the arbitrary number of electronic money storage media 3 and when sensors 2a-2c detect the abnormal state such as the abnormal temperature or smoke of fire or the like, the value of respective electronic money storage media 3 used for the ordinary transaction is transferred to the electronic money storage media 3 in the storage unit 6. Thus, the electronic money is maintained in the case of fire occurrence by the electronic money storage cabinet itself and the property of electronic money transaction system is compactly, inexpensively and highly reliably preserved. |
