PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a clear image without forming a moire pattern in an electrophotographic photoreceptor on which writing is carried out with laser. SOLUTION: At least an undercoat layer 2 and a photosensitive layer 6 are laminated on an electrically conductive substrate 1 to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The undercoat layer 2 is formed with at least one selected from among a metallic alkoxide, an org. metallic chelate compd. and a silane coupling agent or a reactional product of them and contains fine resin particles of 0.001-5μm average particle diameter.
