PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part assembling method and apparatus which can reduce a time required for all production steps, prevent a worker from wrongly mount ing an electronic component and thus can significantly suppress improper produc tion. SOLUTION: In one of component-mounting steps for recognizing a mounting position information mark 8 of a part from a mounting object itself, the mark 8 on a printed circuit board 6 transported as the mounting object is recognized for each board to generate NC data in the apparatus, while component-mounting information 10, including a component type at the mounting position and component-mounting method is recognized and related to the NC data generated previously in the apparatus. In a step of recognizing the component type in a part supply section, array information of the set components is generated. At the time of mounting the components, there such a need for an operator to previously create NC data, array data and part data in the prior art can be eliminated. |
